We live in the adjoining property with our two young children and two dogs, so should be available if you have any questions. If you prefer not to have any contact with us during your stay, that's absolutely fine too! We try our best to keep any noise to a minimum.
Our dogs have access to an enclosed yard behind the property. Although the dogs are friendly, we ask that you please do not enter their yard without our permission. The dogs never enter the eco-retreat, so guests with allergies need not worry!
We have a reasonably steep (partially gravel) driveway, which is easily accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles.
Due to local Council restrictions, we can only accommodate bookings for a maximum of five people.
Guests have shared access to a washing machine & tumble dryer by request (these are located in our garage).
The eco-retreat is family-friendly.
Fiordland Eco-Retreat is not suitable for pets.
No smoking, parties or events please.
Please do not enter the dogs' yard or access the garage without permission.
Please do not flush wet wipes / baby wipes down the toilet as they block our wastewater system.
Please ensure that the kitchenette is left in a tidy state, with all dishes washed upon check-out.
Please do not cook fish or other pungent foods indoors as there is no extractor fan in the kitchenette (outdoors on the BBQ is ok).
Drinking glasses / glass bottles must not be used in or around the hot tub please - plastic wine glasses and tumblers are supplied.
The number of occupants shall not exceed the number agreed with us in advance of your stay. Should additional guests be brought onto the property, we reserve the right to collect additional guest fees.
